Anyone here play Spades? If so, which site? I like Yahoo spades a lot but sometime get tired of all the bickering and bs and want to find a back up site. I like MSN ok too but was looking for something else.

I've attempted to learn how to play Spades, but I seem to be a dunce as far as card games go. A friend of mine TRIED really hard to teach me, but it never took.

I didn't have any luck on NewGrounds but Jarkey.Net has a multiplayer spades (the only kind I really like, playing against the pc is just too easy) and also lots of other games. Thanks again :D !

I have looked just about everywhere for the best spades online and unfortunately Yahoo seems to have some of the best players. Iwin is pretty good too, and you don't have to play to 500 like on Yahoo, but Yahoo you will get better players as long as your rank is high enough. Newbies starting out in Yahoo are horrible, but once you prove yourself you can play with skilled players.

I have always like MSN spades. I have tried Yahoo too but I guess I am used used to the layout MSN offers.

It is similar to Hearts but going in the opposite direction. I've played both and prefer spades. Here is a link that goes over the rules:

She could always leave AFTER the games, and she can also use the ignore button during the games. The problem I have is that out of nowhere people will just start taking 3 minute turns if they don't like how a hand has been played, and there is no way to boot them.

The few times I played on yahoo it wasn't too bad. I know what you mean about those who drag it out. I love playing spades but using end up playing at a friends house instead of online.

for your friend, i suggest to try "hearts" if "spades" bring so many guys... heheheh

Yahoo spades has a bunch of Yahoos who do not take the game seriously in the beginners lounge. If you can work your way up to the Expert lounge the gaming is much better. Watch out for cheats though, there are many who have steady partners and tell each other their hands.

I have found that most take it TOO seriously in Yahoo and when they start lose is when the gloves come out. I am addicted despite the jerks on there though. MSN is pretty good too. There is also HardWood Spades .
