Has anyone heard of the independent games festival? I came across IGF on another website. Basically, it's a competition for independent game developers and you can win prizes.

No, this is my first time hearing about IGF. This would be a great competition for a serious game developer.

No, I can't say that I have heard of it. Could you tell me more about it because I'm very interested in knowing about the festival?

I know there is suppose to be an independent games festival Feburary 18-22, 2008 in San Francisco, CA. Also there is going to be 20,000 dollars in prizes for all the top competitors at the festival.
